Alex was quite busy today!
Today is Brisbane Open House day. 30 building in or around city were opened free to public.
We went to Brisbane City Library to see the amazing automated book sorting machine! It was fantastic and the books are automatically sorted and line up in the trolley. It is amazing.
Then Alex went to level 16 to see the Brisbane view which was even higher than the big wheel.
Daddy was quite exciting because this was the tallest places in the city Alex has been to so far. He can see Brisbane river, big wheel, cars, people, mount coo-tha, Pacific motorways and lots of tall buildings so he is quite happy too.
Around 11:30AM, we went to the Brisbane Traffic Control centre. It had lots of screens of live footage from all over the city. The director introduced lots of things and daddy knew two more things now:
1. 612 ABC radio traffic update was broadcasting from here.
2. There are certain incidents that gov won't let public know for all sorts of reasons. What are the reasons? Don't know yet.
Then we cross the road to the City Hall, they dig 5 metres deeper to build kitchen which can cater 1000 plates. that sounds great! Mum wrote wrote a wish card on behalf of Alex for city hall. What make daddy very proud of is, Alex got a Brisbane Open House tag from the volunteer. Well Done!
After a round trip on the city glider. Mum decided to go home.
Around 5:00PM, we went to grandma's friend's home who were from Dalian, they have a boy half year younger than Alex. They played the green ball, remote control car, dance together, jump together, one play electronic piano, another play the drum. Amazingly, Alex can play the drum very well. Great job!!
Daddy is very proud of the way Alex played with his friend Le Le.
Hopefully, tomorrow we can go to forest festival and then go to swim.
